Toronto Zoo Visited

Many photos by Ron Clifford (photographer par excellent)
Judi and I have been very lucky!
We have been able to visit the Toronto Zoo a number of times!
The Toronto Zoo is a wonderful place to visit and explore.
It offers so much for the whole family and it’s open all year round.
There are so many ways to tour the Toronto Zoo.
Which is great because it gives you a different experience each time you visit.
For this visit I’ll take you past the camel rides.
… to the “Discovery Zone“!
Here you’ll find the “Kids Zoo“…
… and so much more.
Like “Splash Island” on a hot summer day.
Or the “Zoo Shop“, for memories of you Zoo visit.
Moving out of the Discovery Zone, you come to the Tundra Trek.
There’s lots to experience here, especially…
… especially the “Polar Bears“!
You can see them laying on the rocks.
Enjoying, in the winter, the coldness of the snow.
Swimming in the pool.
Or, best of all, seeing them “up close and personal“!
We discovered other beautiful animals in the Tundra Trek.
The Toronto Zoo has so much to offer visitors.
It is so amazing to see these animals, most you would never have the opportunity to experience without the Zoo!
Off to discover other place and more animals!
The trail to more Toronto Zoo “adventures“!
The diversity of the Toronto Zoo is immense.
There are animals from around the world.
So many countries are represented.
There are many “rare” species.
Here’s a Toronto Zoo fact ~ “The Zoo has over 5,000 animals representing over 450 species.”
More Toronto Zoo facts ~ “There are over 10 km (six miles) of walking trails.”
“287 hectares (710 acres). One of the largest zoos in the world.”
The above Toronto Zoo facts can be found on their website at http://www.torontozoo.com/ExploreTheZoo/.
As I have mentioned, the Toronto Zoo is huge, and one of the largest zoos in the world.
It would be impossible for any one article to tell the whole story.
What we have tried to do is to give a glimpse of what’s inside the Toronto Zoo.
But to really get the whole story, you need to visit the Toronto Zoo itself, many times!
Not only will you learn more about our “WORLD“…
… you will see how important zoos are in understanding and preserving our “world” and those creatures that inhabit it.
With that said, “gather up” your family and friends and head to the Toronto Zoo!
Maybe we will see you there.
By the way, the “zoomobile” is a great way to experience the Toronto Zoo.
We have a special thanks to professional photographer, Ron Clifford, for touring the zoo with us. Many of his amazing photographs are features in this article.
Visiting the “WORLD” through the “TORONTO ZOO“!
